Getting to Le Bois Coupe

I usually fly from Standsted to St. Ettiene and then drive via Lyon and Macon to Le Bois Coupe. Its just under 2 hrs.

One may also fly from Gatwick to Dijon and drive South via Beaune. Its just over 2hrs.

I've also driven then in car, van and on motorbike. The drive is just under 9 hours with stops - unless you are a biker. :-)

There is little difference in time from Calais or Cherbourg to Le Bois Coupe.

This is not therefore a weekend jaunt just across the Channel. Lucerene is nearer than Paris. And Montpellier nearer than Cherbourg.

This is deep rural France.
